For those which have the possibility of it, there exists in Europe several pump ' ' specific DI' ' which is a direct swap, some witch the good alignment of pulley and rev over 4200rpm and this, in 10,11 and 12mm head plunger, ex: peugeot boxer 2.5TDI, fiat ducato 2.5 (some fiat use a TDI 1Z came plate with a 11mm head), Kia 2.9L DOHC, VW transporter 2.8 TDI, etc.. some of this pumps are not

If you open up the exhaust to a 2.5” turbo-back pipe you and keep the boost spikes under control you can aim for 320tq/150whp at 24psi at sea level with proper nozzles and tuning, but don’t expect the turbo to last forever.

This is mainly related for ANY and AYZ engine codes information. The 1.2 TDI has stock 360er injectors, but some later models might have little bit bigger ones. From factory engine came with 61 hp and 140 NM. Bone stock lupo 3L or audi A2 3L can deliver max roughly 90 hp and 250 Nm. With straigth piping you can get the power roughly to 95 hp.

The rest of engines are all 5 or 6 cyl so I guess they will need even more work. Best bet is to upgrade a chip, fit a intercooler of a higher powered model (maybe turbo aswell) along with the bigger injectors and you will probably gain quite a bit of power (more than that LT you drove I presume).
